The popular message platform WhatsApp is working on to launch a new feature “WhatsApp Voice Status“. This is an amazing feature of Meta-owned WhatsApp platform that help the users to post voice status or post on their status. According to the report, WhatsApp is working to add an extra function for the users to post voice status in their update. Now voice status feature is available only in WhatsApp Beta version.
As of now, users can record their voice message within a chat. There is no option to share this to everyone in their contact as a status. But it’s possible to send to your contacts as an audio file. The new voice status feature helps the users to put other audio files also as their WhatsApp status.

So far, WhatsApp supports texts, images, GIFs and videos and very soon users can post voice notes on their WhatsApp as their status.
Currently, this new features voice status is only supports with the beta version.

How to Setup WhatsApp Voice Status?
Below are the simple steps to configure Voice Status in WhatsApp:
Step 1: Ensure that you have WhatsApp Beta version on your mobile phone. It is very easily available for the Android users.
Step 2: Ensure that you have the latest WhatsApp Beta Version to activate WhatsApp voice status.
Step3 : As shown in the image, all you need to just share a voice note as you share like an image.
Step 4: Open WhatsApp status -> Chose the + icon -> Now select the Mic icon.
Step 5: Now, you can just hold the icon and record your voice message on WhatsApp. You may replay and confirm your WhatsApp voice status.
Step 6: Once confirmed, just post your voice message as your WhatsApp status.
WhatsApp New Features
As we said above, this new WhatsApp voice note status is currently limited to beta users only.
There are some other new WhatsApp features like linking another phone to one account are also available. Also, users can undo a deleted message, edit a sent message, and some other features.
